Deutsches Brot
I've been here for more than 9 months now - and today I found what I was desperately looking for all the time: a German bakery!
It's just around the corner from where I shop groceries anyway and they have all the delicious treasures you can normally only get back home. All handmade. Amazingly, it is a lot cheaper than in Germany, too. Plus staff as well as and customers speaking German and apparently always in the mood for a chat.
You guys have a new patron now!

Jendrik, where is this bakery?! In Hamilton we have a place called "Denninger's" where we get all of our german bread, pretzels, weisswurst, Bavarian rye, cakes, spicy mustard that comes in tubes similar to toothpaste..... (the list goes on).
I haven't found anything that comes close to this here in Waterloo. So, I ask you again, where is this bakery???

The place is called "Grainharvest Breadhouse". If you go down "Columbia" and pass King St., it's about 500m further on the right hand side (the 1st plaza after the small bridge). Check the address and more info at:

Aber bald wirst du es ja schon wieder im Überfluss beziehen können.
Ist der Herr zur Kiwo eigentlich schon zurück im Lande? Auf ne kleine Schwentinetour und ne dicke Wurst bei Claas aufm Grill?

Die diesjährige Kieler Woche incl. Rahmenprogramm muss ich mir dieses Jahr schweren Herzens entgehen lassen. Bis Mitte/Ende August bleibe ich den Kanadiern noch erhalten.

Ich Sortierfach gewesen hier für mehr als 9 Monate jetzt - und heute
fand ich, nach war ich hoffnungslos der ganzer Zeit suchte: eine
deutsche Bäckerei! Sie ist um Würfel Ecke gerecht von, der ich
Lebensmittelgeschäft irgendwie kaufe und sie alle köstlichen
Schätze haben, Würfel Sie Haupt normalerweise nur zurück erhalten
können. Alles handmade. Erstaunlich ist es viel
preiswerter als in Deutschland, Auch. Pluspersonal sowie und
Kunden anscheinend, Würfel immer Deutsches sprechen und im der
Stimmung für ein Schwätzchen. Sie Kerle haben einen neuen
